Charlie Solyom lead guitar and background vocals.
Charlie's list of musical accomplishments date almost as far back as Rik. He has both a jazz and classical background. When you hear Charlie on lead, you truly feel what the song is about.
Sandy Petkewicz keyboard, synthesizer. background vocals
Rik asked Sandy to join The Runaways one month after she retired from a 31 year high school mathematics teaching career. Sandy has been playing keyboard since age seven and taught organ during her high school and college years. She played in two rock bands in high school. They were 60's bands because it WAS the sixties! When Sandy is not performing with The Runaways, you'll see her out dancing at the shows of her favorite 50's, 60's, and Beatles tribute bands.
Tom Petkewicz rhythm guitar
Tom got his start in music by playing guitar at folk masses. He played at coffee houses in the late 60's performing hits from legends like Simon and Garfunkel, The Kingston Trio and Peter, Paul & Mary. Now, after retiring from a 34 year teaching career, he's back rockin' & rollin' with The Runaways. He is the McGuyver of the band, able to fix just about anything that needs fixin'.
Wally Koch bass guitar and background vocals
Bassist Wally has gravitated toward low-pitched instruments all his life. He is truly a bass, viol kind of guy. In addition to electric bass, Wally also plays string bass, tuba, and guitar. He enjoys and has performed a wide variety of styles. After a late Saturday night with The Runaways, he often enjoys spending Sunday mornings performing with a traditional jazz group that specializes in New Orleans-style worship services.
